Thanks for stopping by my site. My name is Matthew Woodring and I am the sole owner and operator of KamaStudio. I have been designing and developing websites since 2001. My formal education includes a B.S. in Technology Management with advanced training in Web Design, E-commerce Development, PERL. PHP, XHTML and CSS. I have also passed certification courses in Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Fireworks and Adobe Photoshop.
My work experience in the web field has mostly been for other companies. At the beginning of 2008 I decided to open KamaStudio and since then have been working independently. The biggest problem I had working for other companies was a fundamental disagreement with how value is calculated. Instead of valuing the initial sale of a web site design, I have chosen to value the client. The client whether small or large is what makes my company work. About 80% of the work I do comes from client referrals. I respect that and am aware of that as I am also aware of the value of keeping a client versus the cost of gaining a new one.
Because I am an independent I am able to not only offer my clients excellent customer service and support, but I have the time and knowledge to consult with my clients and propose a real web solution for their individual needs. Instead of trying to build as many web sites as I can, as fast as I can, I try to make sure each client becomes hugely successful with his/her site whether the objective is to sell goods, provide a service, impart information, or all three. I have a vested interest in your success.
